In the felt workshop Mark had worked with great patience and his usual delicate touch to create a felted picture of a Mexican Day of the Dead skull. After being framed it was chosen as one of the craft workshop pieces available to buy from the Larchfield stall at the recent Thrift Festival at Kirkleatham Hall. Steven James was one of the visitors to the Larchfield stall and wanted to buy Mark's artwork but requested that it be signed by the artist himself. This led to Mark paying a visit to Sticky Fingers to meet Steven, sign the picture and have a pint. The skull picture was originally intended to be part of the iconic art works that are featured in the bar but Steven and his wife like it so much it now hangs in their home.
