Volunteers

Botton Village welcome’s volunteers both locally and internationally who can offer their skills and enthusiasm for a few hours each week.

There are opportunities for everyone at Botton Village.  Whether you are 18 or 80 years old, living locally or on the other side of the world, looking for work experience in a specific area, wanting to learn skills or share existing ones.  We would love to hear from you.

We have many different opportunities for people with a few hours or more per week.  We are looking for volunteering to help support us with our day to day work in our garden’s, farm’s, wood workshop, bakery, weavery, transport or even been a friend by going to the football, shopping or playing games and chatting.  If you have 3 hours or more per week that you could spend in the community please get in touch.

As well as getting to spend time in a relaxing environment and getting to know new people we will provide you with basic training as required to work with the people we support.  After an initial visit you will need to complete an application form and DBS check.

We also welcome corporate work parties for employee volunteering days.
