Work Experience to Skill Sharing

There are opportunities for everyone at Oaklands Park. Whether you are 18 or 80 years old, living locally or on the other side of the world, looking for work experience in a specific area, wanting to learn skills or share existing ones. We would love to hear from you.

We are particularly looking for volunteers to help support us in our Day Opportunities in the garden, farm, wood workshop and weavery. If you have 3 hours or more a week that you could spend in the community please get in touch.

There are lots of different things happening at Oaklands Park so if the Day Opportunities aren't right for you there may be other ways you can help.

As well as getting to spend time in a relaxing environment and getting to know new people we will provide you with basic training as required to work with the people we support. After an initial visit you will need to complete an application form and DBS check.

We also welcome corporate work parties for employee volunteering opportunities in the garden and on the farm and estate.
