What Do We Offer Adults with Learning Disabilities?

  • Supported living opportunities
  • Work opportunities, enterprises, workshops and day placement activities
  • To be a part of a vibrant and diverse community

Croft Location

Croft Community is a vibrant community located on the edge of the North Yorkshire market town of Malton. We support amazing people to realise their potential.

We strive to develop skills and talents to make a valuable contribution to Croft and also local communities. We’re proud of our links with the local community and there’s a long tradition of new opportunities being built upon through partnership and connectivity.

Currently home to 37 community members, an inspiring group of adults with a broad age range, from individuals in their 20’s to those in their 70s.

Support on Offer

We combine individualised and shared support. This enables people to access the community’s broadest possible range of opportunities.

We support 38 people across the community, 26 at our main site and 12 off site. We support adults with learning disabilities, people on the Autistic spectrum, individuals with mental health needs, physical disabilities, visual impairment, and elderly care needs.

We have a real variety of places for people to live. Many community members live on the main site in large, medium and small shared houses or individual self-contained flats.

Some live more independently in homes around the town. Support is based around individuals needs and is shaped to fit each person and household uniquely.

Our unique community supports vulnerable individuals in realising their potential, strengthening their independence skills, developing relationships, and living a life of opportunity.

Workshops and Activities

Croft Community operates a range of supported work opportunities and enterprises. These include a Market Garden, a Café and craft workshops.
