Florance wins Support Worker Award

Camphill Village Trust (CVT) employee Florance Ndlovu who works at Botton village is celebrating after winning the “Support Worker” award at a national awards event in Birmingham on 29th June.   The National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards celebrate excellence in support and aim to pay tribute to those individuals or organisation who excel in providing quality care.

CVT Shared Lives Scheme continues to grow

We have just added another four sets of Carers to our ever growing service, 'CVT Shared Lives'. The Carers spent an initial four days at the charity's offices in Stourbridge to participate in training based around the government's Care Certificate Standards, the expected entry level qualification for anyone new coming into social care.

Stourbridge Community Breakfast Club a Roaring Success

Local charity Camphill Village Trust (CVT) hosted its first Community Breakfast Club last week, where close to 40 people made up of local residents, voluntary organisations, the Police, Fire Brigade and Dudley MBC attended the event to informally network, share ideas and talk about what’s going on in and around the neighbourhoods of Stourbridge.
