'When I moved into Teyva House I got a new armchair from John Lewis and I brought all my precious things with me. One of them is a DVD of me in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I sang 'Any Dream Will Do'; at the time I was a member of Electric Umbrella and they sent me a card saying how good I was.' (Electric Umbrella is a group of professional musicians and adults with learning disabilities who write and perform music together in all sorts of venues culminating in a big show.)
'I like to help people out and I helped Ian move a sofa for Bruce. I like outside jobs best and when the weather is good I work with Lee picking up litter, cutting trees back along the path to Cherry Hill Nursery and washing the car.'

'It is my birthday next week and I am having a party in the hall with a DJ and I am going to get some lanterns from the garden centre to decorate the hall. I like to eat Chinese and Indian meals, lemonade is my favourite drink and I like the orange biscuits that are made here in the Larchfield Bakery. I like walking and playing table tennis - I have had a few games with Lee in the hall and I used to play with Jen who is a relative.
I really like going to the Theatre and plan to go and see the 'King Cole' musical at Middlesbrough Little Theatre; I once saw a production of the musical 'Frankenstein' at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle.
At Christmas I went away with Mum and Dad and we stayed in a cottage in Almouth with our friends Garth and Ella.'
