7th November 2016 by Grange Oaklands Communites
On Monday 31st October residents of Oaklands Park and the Grange Communities came together for an evening of fun.
It all started at 6pm in the Lighthouse which had been decorated with cobwebs, spiders, pumpkins and all things scary. Some people brought along poems to read out about pumpkins, witches and Halloween.
It was a bring and share meal with all houses contributing a dish.
This was followed by a pumpkin carving competition with a prize of a hand carved spoon from the wood workshop as the prize. This was won by Douglas at the Grange, with Jonathan and Sue coming in second and third place.
The rest of the evening was a disco with lots of dancing including themed tunes such as Thriller and Monster Mash.
Everyone had a throughly good evening. Many thanks to support staff Julie Ann and Charlie for organising such a fun event.
