Better Health at Work Silver Award

The North East Communities; Botton Village, The Croft and Larchfield have achieved the North East Better Health at Work Silver Award.This partnership has now been taken forward by all of the region’s twelve Local Authorities, the NHS and the Northern TUC. We have taken the award one step further than employees; because the people we support are actively involved in this award across our communities.

Northern CVT Communities Celebration Ball 2017

We did it again… we rolled out the red carpet and had a night to remember. The night is all about - creating lasting memories and recognising outstanding achievements, as well as bringing the three Northeast communities together once again. The evening was spent singing, dancing and laughing with our friends old and new. We built new friendships and connected in happiness. We had an absolute ball!

A Good Day at the Regional Forum

On the 7th of November the Learn to Lead teams from Larchfield, Botton and Croft met for a Regional Forum at Botton Village. The teams spend a very focused day reviewing the feedback from the 'My Life' surveys as well as the work of the Learn to Lead teams over the last year. The results from the surveys gave the forum delegates, who are all community members or day placements, the opportunity to discuss what has been going well in their communities and what they think could work better.

CVT enjoy an evening of celebration

Karin Slade and Jeanette Jowett from Larchfield and Michele Buck from Botton were finalists in the  National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards 2017 hosted by actor Sally Philips. Even though we didn’t manage to grab the top award, the Charity was so proud that Karin, Jeanette and Michele were part of this great event, representing themselves and all their colleagues across CVT - and being recognised for all the quality care, commitment and passion that happens across CVT every day. Congratulations to them from us all.
