Aluminum Recycling

Here at Taurus Crafts we are celebrating because with the help of local residents in the Forest of Dean we have saved over two tonnes of aluminum foil from landfill in the past year.

Volunteering in The Local Community

At Taurus Crafts, the people we support enjoy volunteering in the wider local community this enables them to develop responsibility and social skills. Community member Brian Mannion volunteers regularly at The Dean Forest Railway which is a 4 1⁄4-mile long heritage railway that runs between Lydney junction and Parkend in the Forest of Dean.

Clay Play

Here at Taurus Crafts we have introduced a new activity in the Paint Your Own Pottery called ‘Clay Play’. Visitors can make coil pots, mini sculptures, clay creatures & much more. This activity is an excellent opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to get hands-on & creative with clay. With the introduction of this new activity it has enabled Cathy to share her gift and passion for working with clay.
